Part 2 | For the love of contouring and highlighting!

Hey there my lovely followers,

Following Part 1 that you can read here of this duo series, today we continue discussing other face shapes and how best to contour and highlight each specific shape, so without further chit chat let’s get down to the order of the today’s post

Diamond Face Shape
How to tell if your face is shaped like a diamond:

• Hairline is more narrow than your cheeks;
• A slightly pointed chin;
• Face is longer than it is wide.

Where you should contour:
For the diamond face ladies, the ideal area to contour is below your cheekbones starting from your ears and ending in the middle of your cheeks.

Where you should highlight:
Highlight under your eyes if you want, best way is in an upside-down triangle shape and along your brow bone to brighten your eyes. In the middle of your forehead and the middle of your chin to help broaden the naturally narrow areas.

Heart Face Shape
How to tell if your face is shaped like a heart:

• Cheeks are wider than your hairline.
• Chin is narrow and pointed.
• True heart-shaped face also has a widow’s peak.

Where you should contour:
Start along the sides of your forehead and temples to create balance between the wider upper half of your face and the more narrow lower half. Very light contour in the area below your cheekbones.

Where you should highlight:
Again if you like, under your eyes in an upside-down triangle shape, which brightens your eyes. In the middle of your nose and the middle of your chin to help broaden these naturally narrow areas.

Oblong Face Shape
How to tell if your face is oblong:

• Face is almost twice as long as it is wide.
• Have no major points along your jaw, chin, or hairline.

Where you should contour:
Start along your hairline to create the illusion of a lower hairline, following under your chin to make your face appear a little rounder. Finally, the area below your cheekbones starting from your ears and ending in the middle of your cheeks.

Where you should highlight:
Under your eyes to brighten your eyes.
