You might be familiar with the brand Elizabeth Arden, a brand that is recognized worldwide as a trusted brand in cosmetics. It is one of the oldest cosmetic brands having been in business for more then 100 years. Elizabeth Arden manufactures skin care, make up and fragrance products.
However, for the purpose of this review I am will be reviewing some skin care products samples, all targeted towards skin restoration and anti-ageing 🙂 and plus side they came in the cutest makeup bag ever!

Superstart Skin Renewal Booster (sample)
Elizabeth Arden’s SUPERSTART Skin Renewal Booster is one of a growing number of products being formulated to boost your skin’s ability to defend and repair itself. Although that’s great, the claims for this product are what you should expect from any well formulated serum or moisturizer. It’s sheer, water-based formula is suitable for all skin types, including breakout-prone skin. This booster (proper package) comes in an attractive glossy pump bottle that neatly dispenses the product while keeping it tight and air-sensitive ingredients stable during use.
This product should also help in repairing the skin’s barrier to strengthen its surface defences resulting in a healthier-looking skin. In fact product contains Glycerin , caprylic/capric triglyceride, oligosaccharides, ceramides, and cholesterol. All of which are known to be excellent for repairing and replenishing the skin’s barrier. Product is fragranced, slightly more than what’s listed on the ingredients lists.
My overall experience: I have been using this product for about a week now and I have seen quite a nice restoration to my skin surface resulting in a more healthy looking face.

Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum (sample size)
These capsules are quite an interesting product, meant to be suitable for normal to very dry skin types. Upon reading on the list of ingredients you can tell that they are meant to provide an effective restoration towards a healthy skin, creating a barrier type function. Product contains cell-communicating ingredients and skin-restoring ceramides together with two forms of antioxidant vitamin A as well as some vitamin E all elements that help the skin look and feel its best. These capsules also claim to be fragrance and preservative free.
My overall experience: Same as above I have been using this product for about a week now. I really like the texture which is not runny at all considering it’s a serum. Skin absorbed it quite nicely and dries off quite fast too. The only draw back is the fragrance although it claims to be fragrance free it has this plastic-like smell that lingers for a few minutes.

Cermadine Lift and Firm Cream with SPF 30 (sample)
This little trooper is said to be the chief anti-aging product. A daytime moisturizer suitable for normal to dry skin, contains sunscreen, which includes avobenzone for sufficient UVA protection. Beyond sun protection, this has an impressive product which is full of antioxidant vitamins, antioxidant-rich plant extracts, and skin-identical ingredients such as ceramides, lecithin, and phospholipids. It also contains clover flower, a plant extract that is listed that can cause irritation. It includes also a few fragrance chemicals known for their irritating properties. I would suggest that people with very sensitive skin would opt for something different otherwise this product is a very well formulated daytime moisturizer with sunscreen.
My overall experience: I just love this product, the light texture of product is so nice to the touch and blends into my skin like a dream. I like the SPF factor especially for Malta this is ideal when we considering that we have summer-like temperature almost all year round. I applied make up whilst using this cream as a standalone product and also using a primer after and in both instances foundation application remained flawless for a good 8hours.
Until next time,
