Hey there my lovelies,
Welcome back to my Blog!
Right after Carla’s presentation, we headed over to the exhibition by designer Désirée Azzopardi of Désirée Fashion Design titled Less is (not) More.
Désirée is known locally for her hand painted customised shoes which we had seen last year during Fashion week. Anyone that is anyone, could not deny the talent of the designer and any shoe lover (like me) is easily drawn in and fascinated by the fact that each design is unique.
For this year’s collection Désirée designed and created from scratch a collection of handmade, real leather bags with designs paying tribute to some of Malta’s popular and iconic places including the beautiful Mdina entrance, the gone Azure window in Gozo, the Valletta skyline, the well-loved Bajtra and the traditional Bizzilla. Désirée was kind enough to give me an insight on the collection which you can read here, however if you will attending Malta Fashion Week in the next few days I do suggest to go and see the collection for yourself as you truly will not be disappointed with Désirée’s talent.
If you cannot make it I will be there so make sure to follow my socials Facebook and Instagram to see what’s going on.
Until next time,
