Event Post #81 | An afternoon with Sunday in Scotland the New Artisan Chocolate Boutique

Hey there my lovelies,

Welcome back to my Blog!

There is nothing quite like a boutique café and chocolate shop launch experience where your main aim to make your invitees and your customers see, smell and taste your luxury artisan desserts and chocolates.  Thursday 18th October, I was invited to attend an afternoon with local brand Sunday in Scotland which was established in 1997.  The shop is located in our beautiful Capital City Valletta.

Everyday Feels Like ‘Sunday in Scotland’

Every great city needs a great artisan chocolate store, and now Malta has it’s very own thanks to Sunday in Scotland.  Behind this innovative Artisan Chocolate Boutique is passionate owner Amer Wahoud and his partner, who came up with the idea on a Sunday in Scotland.  They wanted to start a Chocolate business as apparently they seriously believed they are chocolate lovers and decided to open up shop in Malta, adding value to the latest global brand to start its story in Malta.

“The concept behind Sunday in Scotland was conceived on a summer afternoon in the Scottish highlands, and is reminiscent of the Sundays of our childhood – a magical time for dreaming, unwinding, and, of course, indulging in life’s finest treats.”

With a vision to help introduce this beautiful concept to the Maltese people, they created an aesthetically beautiful and exquisite Chocolate Boutique where one can stop by and enjoy some chocolate tasting to suit every occasion and every taste palette, not to mention the most delicious cappuccino and/or a glass of Prosecco if that is what one prefers.

Everything from the chocolates, pastries, desserts and cakes is made and produced in Malta.  I felt a sense of pride when Amer pointed out  that he is proud that on every box there is labelled Made in Malta.  Their signature Maltese Falcon is fact becoming an iconic piece in the shop.  In fact, for the launch they elevated  the Maltese Falcon to his majestic centre piece made out of dark chocolate, were even the mosaic looking pedestal it’s was perched on was made of chocolate 😮 😮

Sunday in Scotland opened its doors just a few months ago, but already the word has been spreading amongst the locals and tourists in Valletta alike, and it will not take that much convincing to become a loyal customers after your first visit, as anyone who is a passionate chocolate lover will sure keep going back to Sunday in Scotland to experience their wonderful creations.

So if you are in search of a new artisan experience and looking for unique chocolates and pastries that are proudly made in Malta using the finest ingredients that are all meticulously sourced and turned into one-of-a-kind products, then look no further. The entire product range can be enjoyed in the boutique, taken-away to be eaten later, given as a gift, or even ordered ahead for convenience. Meanwhile, the venue itself is the ideal destination for any occasion – whether it’s a morning coffee, afternoon tea or an evening party with the great pairing of wine or champagne with chocolate, it is available for group bookings.

Do not just take my word for it, I urge you to go and experience it for yourself and let yourself be treated to an the experience of your life – I assure you, you  will not be disappointed.  My personal experience at Sunday in Scotland has forever change the way I favour chocolate.  Side fact: next time you will spot me in Valletta, you will definitely find me at Sunday in Scotland 🙂
