Hey there my lovelies,
Welcome back to my Blog!
Disclaimer: I would like to state that I have not seen the collection prior to the show. This will be an honest and non-biased post.
Up next on the the agenda on my first day at Malta Fashion Week was the collection by Nilara by designer Nilay Camilleri. After a year’s break Nilay graced us with another collection which by the name alone, it intrigued me to say the least.
Thinking back of Nilay’s previous collections, I was eagerly awaiting to see were she will take her new collection. Over the years we saw dramatic, assertive and spectacular collections. However, for this year’s collection she tapped into a sexy, wearable and colourful collection. A breath of fresh air and a homage to a more confident and independent woman.
As soon as the music started it instantly set the tone to what was to come and I could not help myself – I was swaying away on my seat along to the music and the minute Beatrice (the model that opened the show) stepped on the catwalk I was OMG – jaw drop moment – I mean WOW what a showstopper! You think I’m exaggerating well see for yourselves 👇👇👇

Soon after that I could not take my eyes off the models, it was one stunning piece after another all different and playful yet the collection was connected and brilliantly executed. As I said the whole collection is wearable and I could tell that by the audience reaction that they were ecstatic about that!
Safe to say that I want a least 6 pieces of this collection in my wardrobe and if you know me well you know that I am one that does not levitate to colour however this collection got me wanting that joyful vibe.
Huge congratulations Nilay 🙂 That was a brilliant show.
Until next time,
