First impression #3 | Flormar Eyebrow Primer Pencil and Shadow

Hey there lovelies,

As you might have seen if you follow my blog page on FB, I was contacted by Flormar Malta to go in and choose some products which I wished to try from the brand and write about them on my blog for my lovely followers.  So ever since I got the products I have been testing them out.  I got quite a number of items and it only makes sense to try them separately with other products to see how they perform to get the most out of each product.

So here goes my thought on the first two products ….

 

Eyebrow Primer Pencil* (Retails at Eur6.50)

Meeting but with Kim, who is the Store Manager at Flormar was such a pleasant experience and it was easy to tell that she is very passionate at what she does.  While browsing through the array of items available at the shop, I must admit that this item did catch my eye it was the first time for me coming across a primer in a pencil format for the eyebrows.  I do own a few palettes that include a wax but don’t really use it.  But with this specific primer targeted for eyebrows, I have been loving this product as it’s ideal as the first step towards flawless eyebrows.

The benefits of this base is that it helps to intensify and shape the eyebrows easily. Product contains non-greasy Jojoba oil, which whilst moisturising and nourishing the skin, ensures lively and healthy looking eyebrows. It also contains Chamomilla Recutita Flower extract which provides a calming effect.

It goes without saying that this product needs to be applied at the beginning of your makeup application, I found it best applied right after you apply your foundation, spooling your eyebrows into shape, let it set a bit and then apply the a shadow.  I found it best works with shadow other than a pencil.

Of course after choosing the primer it goes without saying, I had to try out the shadow which I found great for defining my eyebrows giving them a very natural look.

With regard to the packaging, I think it’s professional and sturdy, easy to open and great to carry in your make up bag too since it has a small mirror on the inside. 

I really enjoyed the consistency of the shadow, it very nicely pigmented. It might be a bit chalky if you go in heavy handedly however nothing a tap won’t solve.  Ideally applied with an eyebrow brush to minimize fallout it glides nicely on, especially on the pre applied primer, giving you a very nice result.

 

  

…. and this is what the how both products perform and look like after a day of application – I’ll let you be the judge as from my side I love it.

 

I am very pleased with the performance of both these products.  Truly must haves especially the primer and definitely repurchases.
